A few years ago, we were vacationing in Bretagne, and one driving along the coast, finding a spot to go to the beach. We came to a rather nice little port town, and wandered about a bit. Then we spotted stairs, leading down to a small, secluded beach. Sometimes, to reach paradise, you need to go lower. And that's the thing with life: it's good to take well-meant advice to heart, but in the end, it is you who decides what's the best direction for you to grow to. Self-improvement is not about becoming what others tell you is good, it's about becoming a better version of you. And you decide what that looks like.

### Poésie de la vie

We've been having some fun over on Farcaster after [watching a wonderful video](https://warpcast.com/benna/0x337290e7) (I think from TikTok) by [Hugo Hamlet](https://www.instagram.com/hugohamlet/?hl=en). The message: be your own guru and love others from a deep place. A message I connected strongly with. So, I created [a memecoin called $bonj](https://warpcast.com/~/token/bonj) to celebrate that. I can't really find back a shareable version of the video that was shared, but here's a cool song by Hugo Hamlet to enjoy.
