The Sanity Index - Part 01

About a decade ago I worked on a movie in New York. In true production style, the script was not ready and many of us went home early. I would rather wander Queens than go back to a rented room. So most days, I found someplace to nurse a beer and made several pages of what I called “The Sanity Index.” These are the equivalent to a notebook-margin nervous-tick-doodle for me .. I still draw these “Little Guys with Ties.”

Comically Serious

This is one of my favorites which is why I lead with it. It was written by wandering, while in thought, by the train tracks in downtown LA. I think it was a sort of reflection and realization that I can do anything I want with a comic, so just allow yourself to do what you want.

Start Here. What is Nyetoon? Welcome. This is a collectible archive of my web comic, Nyetoon. Nyetoon is a web-comic that I sporadically worked on from 2012 to 2022(-ish.) I don't really draw it much anymore (despite a regular plead from my wife and a handful of devoted fans who occasionally harass me.) I’m minting this archive for others to read.
