UI/UX Standards & The Fear of Clicking
I’ve been building on the web for decades. From messy HTML tables to templates to frameworks to now… vibe coding where UI/UX is basically becoming a universal language. And still… After years of telling users: “You can’t break anything.” “Just click it.” “Worst case? You refresh.” People look at an app like it’s a bomb. Why are we afraid of screens? It’s literally pixels. They can’t punch you. They don’t explode. They don’t call your mom. Yet I meet grown adults who treat a button like it might explode.
