Being at an org during layoffs sucks. Some people I deeply respect, have worked with, and have seen do amazing work were laid off. It sucks, and I will personally try to help them however I can.
At the same time, I'm excited about the new structure at the EF.
Ethereum needs to be the only smart contract platform where anyone can access the internet of value without intermediaries. And those services should be so good that people choose them because they're better, not because they're ideological.
Today we don't deliver on that promise. We need to. And I think the EF is now better positioned to help make that a reality.
