You inscribed a delicate watercolor series onto Bitcoin — not because you wanted to “store data,” but because the permanence felt right. The sats are now little time capsules carrying your work. Or maybe you’re a collector who bought a few pieces from someone who did exactly that. You like knowing the art lives on the same chain as the hardest money ever invented.
Then the headlines start rolling in again. Another Bitcoin Improvement Proposal — this one called BIP-110 — is supposedly coming to “fix” the chain by limiting how much arbitrary stuff people can put on it. The usual suspects are calling inscriptions “spam.” Other people are calling the proposal itself dangerous overreach. Twitter (sorry, X) is doing what it does best: turning a nuanced technical debate into a shouting match about the soul of Bitcoin.
If you’re an artist who has already inscribed something, or someone thinking about doing it for the first time...
Let’s get the most important part out of the way immediately. Your Existing Ordinals Are Safe. We Can Still Inscribe.
A Bitcoin-centric Ordinal by Maxximillian Pepavaggio. Want to see more? Visit the artist's web experience featuring more memetic and pepe art at pepavaggio.art
If you’ve already put art on Bitcoin, BIP-110 (even if it somehow activated) would not touch it. The proposal includes a permanent exemption for anything created before it goes live. Your inscriptions stay exactly where they are — immutable, viewable, transferable. The sats carrying your work can still be moved whenever you want. No deadline. No “move it or lose it.”
This is the part that often gets lost in the noise. The drama is almost entirely about new inscriptions, not the ones already sitting there quietly doing their thing.
What BIP-110 Actually Tries to Do (Without the Panic)
BIP-110 is a temporary soft fork proposal that would, for about a year, make it harder to stuff large amounts of data into new Bitcoin transactions the way many current inscriptions do. Think smaller data “pushes,” restrictions on certain Taproot patterns that big files like to use, and tighter limits on things like OP_RETURN.
The stated goal is to reduce what some people see as bloat and refocus the chain on being money. The satirical part? A proposal with roughly 1% miner support (as of mid-July 2026) is being treated in some corners like it’s already rewriting the rules of the universe. In reality, it’s struggling to get even basic signaling. Major mining pools have stayed away. Prominent voices have come out against turning a content dispute into a consensus fight.
Bitcoin has always been stubborn about changes that lack broad agreement. That stubbornness is usually a feature, not a bug.
For Artists Thinking About Inscribing Something New
Another banger degentified ordinal from Maxximillian Pepavaggio, inspired by a favorite childhood story and portrait photography nostalgia of a previous lifetime.
Here’s where things get practical beyond the theoretical.
If BIP-110 somehow squeaked through on the main chain (and the current numbers make that look unlikely), the classic “one giant file in one inscription” method would become more difficult for a while. But the Ordinals community has already built workarounds — splitting larger pieces into smaller compliant chunks and using updated inscription formats. Art on Bitcoin doesn’t have to disappear; it just might need to arrive in slightly different packaging.
More importantly, most artists aren’t trying to inscribe 4-megabyte interactive experiences that fill entire blocks. Most of us are making normal-sized images, text pieces, small animations, or simple HTML experiments. Those would be far less affected even in a worst-case scenario.
And the bigger picture? After the one-year period, the restrictions (if they ever exist) would automatically expire anyway.
Where to Actually Inscribe Something Today (The Easy Way)
If you’re an artist who hasn’t inscribed yet, or you want to make more, the process in 2026 is genuinely approachable for normal-sized work.
Ordinals on gamma.io, Maxximillian's GILFvison collection of glitch art featuring all women, debuted during Miami Art Week, exhibited at SLS South Beach.
The friendliest option for most people right now is still Gamma.io. It’s basically the “I just want to put my art on Bitcoin without learning command-line sorcery” choice. You connect a wallet (Xverse or Unisat work great), drag and drop your file, pick a fee, and sign. It handles the technical commit-and-reveal dance behind the scenes.
Unisat Wallet’s built-in inscriber is another excellent, very popular option — especially if you like having the tool inside the same browser extension you use for everything else. It even has batch options and occasional fee promotions.
Magic Eden also has a clean inscription tool if you’re already hanging out in their ecosystem.
None of these require you to run a full Bitcoin node. They’re non-custodial (you keep control of your keys), and they’re built for exactly the kind of art most creators actually make.
Pro tip from people who’ve done this a few times: smaller files are dramatically cheaper. A well-optimized image or thoughtful piece of pixel art can cost very little in fees if it's inscribed at the right time (when fees are low).
The Takeaway
The endless debate about whether Bitcoin “should” allow art is starting to feel like two people arguing over whether a really good restaurant should only serve steak or whether it’s allowed to also have a nice dessert menu. Meanwhile, the restaurant keeps seating people who are happy to pay for whatever they order.
Bitcoin’s fee market has already shown it can price data usage appropriately. When people want to inscribe things and are willing to pay the fees, miners include the transactions. When they don’t, they don’t. It’s not elegant philosophy — it’s just how the incentives work.
For collectors and artists who aren’t trying to win the “biggest file on the chain” contest, the sky is not falling. Your existing pieces remain exactly as permanent as they were the day they were inscribed. And if you want to make new ones, the tools are simpler and more accessible than they’ve ever been.
The real story isn’t whether some proposal with minimal support will temporarily inconvenience the maximalist data crowd. It’s that thousands of artists and collectors have already decided Bitcoin is interesting enough to put meaningful creative work on it — and they’re still doing it.
Your watercolor series, your weird little pixel experiments, your carefully chosen text pieces… they’re not spam. They’re just another way people are choosing to use the most secure, decentralized database humanity has built so far.
And right now, in the middle of all the BIP-110 drama, that still feels like a pretty interesting thing to do.

Each piece operates as a code-based art installation—a living digital artwork that unfolds over time, offering a time-based abstract art experience that is never static, never repeated. Created for a new generation of fine art collectors, this body of work bridges contemporary practice with emerging formats in onchain art and crypto art, redefining what it means to engage with a digital art collection. These works are designed not only to be experienced, but to be owned—inviting audiences to collect generative art as limited edition art that lives, evolves, and holds its place within the future of art collecting.
The Theme of Abstractia III: Initiative
New life, new form, new vision cannot be pushed into full expansion before there is enough structure to carry it. The energy is present. The potential is present. But the lesson is patience, preparation, support, and foundation.
Every wise beginning calls for a base with stakes deeper than the foundation of whatever's to become.
Not because the vision is weak, but because it is new. Because what is just coming into form carries enormous potential, and potential requires preparation before it can fully expand.
Abstractia III Initiative lives in that precise moment: the early stage of becoming, when energy is gathering, movement is beginning, and the future is already present in fragile form.
This work reflects the truth that a beginning is rarely seamless. It arrives with uncertainty, with necessary adjustment, with the delicate work of finding balance. And yet, within that first unsettled phase, something essential is being built.
A base.
A rhythm.
A structure strong enough to hold what comes next.
The wisdom here is not to force growth before its time. It is to nurture what is emerging with patience, to give it support, to allow it to organize itself into strength. What matters most in the beginning is not speed, but stability. Not immediate scale, but sound footing.
There is a quiet power in that kind of patience. A faith in process. An understanding that what is carefully formed at the start can carry much more as it develops.
This piece honors that threshold: the tender intelligence of a beginning that is preparing to last.
"Is da thrian tionnsgnadh."
—Scottish Gaelic proverb. Begun is two-thirds done—that is to say, initiative is two-thirds of what becomes completion.
There is a sacred intelligence in the beginning of things.
Not in sudden expansion, but in the careful formation of what must first be made strong enough to hold. 3 Abstractia III reflects that early passage of becoming: when form is still new, potential is immense, and the first task is not to accelerate, but to ground.
Here, the beginning is understood as a living foundation. Something is arriving, but it must be supported, organized, and given time. The energy to grow is already there. The question is whether the structure beneath it is ready to carry what follows.
This work honors patience as an act of vision. It honors preparation as part of creation. It reminds us that what is nurtured at the start can open into lasting form, and that the strongest expansion begins with what is carefully built, quietly, at the beginning.

All works of Abstracita are works of generative art that breathes in sync with your local time.
The work exists in multiple primary states, among them: Waves, Lines, Sauce and Being. At the threshold, the viewer is greeted by a shifting "Get Abstract" portal, where ephemeral bubbles rise to meet your cursor, signaling a transition from the static to the fluid. Once you dive in, the background evolves through distinct chromatic identities. The Dawn Palette (3:33 AM – 6:59 AM) is a standout feature; it randomizes its sequence of pinks, mauves, and teals every morning, ensuring that no two sunrises within Abstractia are ever identical.
The interactive menu is your translucent guide that offers you agency in the abstract landscape —— your connection to the rhythmic, silk-like movement of the background.

The visual depth is achieved through layered expressions: Mountain Silhouettes on Sauce mode (S) provide a place of perspective, while the Undulating Waves and Lines mode represent the currents of potential. When the interactive menu (I) or Developer Card (D) are called, they manifest as ethereal overlays. It is an experience designed to be both an interactive and highly scalable meditative experience for any surface, and space.

About this series
This series explores the edge Recognition of what digital art can become—an evolving body of interactive generative art that exists not as a fixed image, but as a real-time digital artwork. Each piece functions as a code-based art installation, continuously generating itself in the moment, never repeating, never settling into a final state. As a living digital artwork, it responds through time, unfolding as a time-based abstract art experience rather than a static composition. The result is something you don’t simply view, but enter—an active system of form, rhythm, and emergence. For those drawn to the future of the medium, this is an invitation to experience and collect generative art in its most immediate, alive state.

One is like giving it the keys to your studio
The other is like giving it a bunch of VIP passes to other buildings
Same brain. Different access.
Art by Maxximillian Pepavaggio. "Glamping" is available as a solo work but is also embedded clandestinely in ABSTRACTIA among the easter eggs. Which one? That's for the collector or prospective collector to discover.
Follow Pepavaggio on YouTube for artist walk-throughs and in-depth docent experiences on Pepavaggio art.
Let’s make this real for a playah. Imagine you’re building something—doesn’t matter if it’s a music tool, a creative platform, or some wild AI-powered system you dreamed up at 2am. You open your terminal and tell Claude, “Scan my codebase, fix the upload flow, and connect it to Supabase.” What happens next is not theoretical. Claude opens your files, reads through your logic, edits what’s broken, runs commands, and debugs the situation in real time. It’s not advising you—it’s working with you. That’s CLI energy. That’s hands-on, sleeves rolled up, right there in the room.
Now flip the scene. You say, “Pull my GitHub repo, check my database, and show recent user activity.” This time Claude isn’t digging through your local files or executing commands in your environment. Instead, it reaches outward. It connects to GitHub through MCP, taps into your database through MCP, and brings back structured information. It’s not inside your workspace—it’s orchestrating across systems. It’s coordinating, not constructing.
That’s the core difference, and once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Here’s the honest part—the part people don’t dress up. A lot of builders are leaning toward CLI right now because it moves. There’s no waiting on integrations to behave, no permission hoops slowing you down, no weird context limits from external APIs cutting your momentum in half. You tell it what to do, and it gets to work. It’s raw, direct, and powerful in a way that feels closer to actual creation than anything else. If you’ve ever been in a flow state where you just want the thing built now, not after five layers of configuration, CLI feels like oxygen.
But here’s where it gets interesting—this isn’t a rivalry. It’s a stack.
The real move isn’t choosing one over the other. It’s understanding what each one is for. CLI is where you build. It’s where you shape the thing, test it, break it, fix it, refine it. MCP is how that thing reaches beyond itself. It’s how your system starts talking to other systems, pulling in data, pushing out actions, becoming part of a larger network. One is creation. The other is connection.
That’s how you go from something that feels like a clever tool to something that behaves like infrastructure.
So when you’re deciding how to move, there are a few natural directions. You can go all-in on CLI and stay in pure build mode, using tools like Claude Code or Cursor to develop locally and move at full speed without friction. You can layer in MCP when you’re ready for your system to interact with the outside world—connecting to repositories, databases, APIs, and everything else that turns a standalone build into something alive. Or you can take it a step further and design your own bridge layer, where your agent becomes the connector itself and you control how everything talks to everything else. That’s where things start to feel less like using tools and more like defining systems.
At the end of the day, the simplest way to think about it is this. CLI is being in the lab, cooking with your hands on every ingredient. MCP is having connections in every city, able to reach out and pull in whatever you need. And the people who are really moving right now aren’t choosing between those roles—they’re operating in both at once, building like they own the kitchen and connecting like they run the supply chain.
💻 Claude as a CLI (Claude Code) = “It’s inside your studio with you”
Think of Claude Code like this:
You open your terminal… and now Claude is sitting right there with you, looking at your whole project.
You can say things like:
“Fix this broken script”
“Refactor my whole project”
“Run this command and tell me what happens”
“Search my files and explain how this works”
And it can actually:
Read your local files
Run commands (like
npm install, git, etc.)Modify your code directly
👉 This is hands-on, in-your-space AI
🧠 Artist analogy:
It’s like inviting a super-genius collaborator into your studio who:
can touch your gear
open your files
tweak your DAW session
and press buttons

🌐 Claude as an MCP Client = “It can talk to the outside world”
Now MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a different vibe.
This is not about being in your terminal.
This is about giving Claude connections to other systems.
With MCP, Claude can connect to things like:
GitHub
databases
browsers
APIs
tools like Jira, Slack, etc.
But here’s the key:
👉 Claude itself doesn’t “do” those things directly
👉 MCP servers act like translators / bridges
🧠 Artist analogy:
This is like giving your assistant:
your Dropbox access
your email login
your Notion workspace
your Spotify account
They’re not physically in your studio…
but they can reach everywhere else.

It’s Just… Complicated Now]]>https://paragraph.com/@n3w-m0n3y/worst-ever-professional-advice-to-not-forget j3nVbYairvkdqQlfEg2aThu, 05 Feb 2026 03:23:21 GMTThis is not a theoretical conversation. It’s not a vibe. It’s not an abstract meditation on culture. It’s about something very specific that keeps happening, and that creators, brands, and institutions can no longer afford to ignore.
The tone matters. The timing matters. The content matters. This isn’t guilt by proximity before facts were known. Deepak Chopra is under the whisper of social scrutiny because emails show him exchanging friendly, casual messages with Jeffrey Epstein after Epstein had already been convicted of child sexual assault. This is continued, familiar communication after conviction.
There’s no clever way to talk around that. It looks bad because it is a bad look, for a spiritual adviser especially.
This doesn’t require exaggeration, and it doesn’t require moral theater. It requires honesty. When someone continues to socialize— intellectually or casually — with a convicted sex offender, especially in ways that include joking or comments about women or girls, the optics are not ambiguous. They signal a failure of judgment at best, and moral indifference at worst.
This isn’t about cancelation. It’s about consequences.
And it’s not unique.
What’s happening here is part of a much larger pattern: reward is becoming radioactive. The very associations that once elevated careers—collaborations, partnerships, shared brands, co-signs—are now one of the greatest sources of long-term risk.
For decades, creators were told to align upward. Work with bigger names. Align yourself with stars in your field. Build credibility through proximity. Hitch your wagon to a star. That model rewarded association. It made sense in a world where information was scarce, archives were incomplete, and time acted like a diffuser, making less concentrated an unacceptable smell.
That diffusion is a relic of the past.
We now live in an environment where past behavior is searchable, documentable, and contextual. Actions don’t stay in their decade. New information doesn’t just update the present; it changes the market value in the present, overnight making a devaluation of some previously stable asset. The would-be heirs now defunded; family name: devalued. And when that happens, the fallout doesn’t stop with the individual who made the choice. It spreads outward — to collaborators, partners, advocates, and anyone whose reputation or lifestyle became entangled when it was rewarding to share the spotlight.
This is where brands and people in orbit are getting burned.
A film doesn’t become worse because one person involved later proves morally compromised — but its value changes. A photograph doesn’t lose its composition — but its circulation changes. A brand partnership doesn’t retroactively become unethical — but its risk profile changes. The work we did with the canceled person/brand becomes pointless to show because the dishonor undercuts the flex; it’s ridiculous to underplay, diminishing to contextualize. Not because the work was wrong, but because your association has become a question mark or a minus instead of the viability multiplier you previously could have banked on.
This is especially brutal for people who invested in those relationships professionally.
Someone else’s choices — sometimes made decades earlier — can devalue your own career today. Not because you endorsed those choices, but because public interpretation now treats alignment as advocacy. Silence as complicity. Proximity as permission. So even if it happened before your time, now you’re expected to make a statement and now it’s a part of your story because your requested statement was documented. Brutal.
That’s the reality public figures of all kinds are navigating in this era I will now coin as the Era of Appetite for social justice (or destruction, I’ll concede to that on some days).
So when we look at the expectations around Chopra, it’s not about whether every spiritual idea he’s ever expressed is invalid. Ideas don’t evaporate because the speaker fails to live up to them.
Hundreds, thousands - mmmm - hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions more people find ease toward better choices every day because of some book or quote or thing the man said. The good will continue to echo (along with the other echoes).
That’s my point.
The lesson here is integrity matters more than ever, because the gap between what someone teaches and how they behave is no longer infrared. It’s visible. And only when you know you’re being watched does visibility change how humans behave (yes, we already have receipts, Chad, so put your tomato away).
This moment is an opportunity — not for spectacle, but for reflection and personal resolution.
Appropriately aligned attention to how we show up for professional associations and friends.
Attention to WHY we advocate.
Keener awareness to who we are implicitly vouching for when we attach our names, brands, or platforms to others and how we present ourselves to them.
In my time here onchain, I’ve evolved away from trust. I’m trustless, but not permissionless too. Why? Because people pivot. People are fickle. And as brands are run by people; they’re just as volatile.
The lesson isn’t “work alone forever.” Build everything yourself, trust no one. It’s not endless vetting, and unhelpful DYOR paranoia. It’s discernment when you know the shit ain’t right — even when the bag is a fatty. It’s understanding that mercenary toadying retroactively now carries interest-bearing reputational weight. That advocacy is no longer retractable without an explicit statement, literally. Reward can turn radioactive long after the applause fades.
Integrity used to be a personal value.
Now it’s a public good.
In a world where ancient history literally re-surfaces, and each of us is a contributing evolving story, the only thing that reliably you control is your opinion of yourself.
It guides all your decisions.
Stay warm, my friends.

That feels bad at first blush — especially in crypto, where bankruptcy often equals chaos and losses. But oddly enough, there are some positive angles for Bitcoin holders
Upside #1 — A Stronger Bitcoin Network Over Time
When miners go bust, the inefficient and high-cost operations drop out of the game. Bitcoin’s consensus mechanism (proof-of-work) adjusts difficulty when hashrate falls, and more efficient miners end up controlling a greater share of the network. That can lead to:
• Lower overall network cost (bad miners exit).
• A more competitive, durable mining ecosystem—which makes Bitcoin’s infrastructure leaner and healthier in the long run.
This is analogous to how inefficient firms exit in any competitive industry, clearing space for stronger players. In the Bitcoin world, that can bolster the network’s resilience and potentially tighten supply pressure on newly mined BTC, which helps scarcity economics.
Upside #2 — Scarcity Can Be Good for Price
Fewer miners don’t directly reduce Bitcoin’s existing supply — Bitcoin’s supply is fixed by protocol — but fewer miners reducing planned selling pressure could be bullish. If struggling mining companies are forced to sell mined BTC at low prices to cover costs, that can temporarily push markets down; but once the weak operators exit, selling pressure eases. With less supply leaching into markets from miner sell-offs, upward price pressure has a clearer runway — especially in a context where demand (especially from institutions and ETFs) remains strong.
This is similar to what happened when Core Scientific emerged from its own bankruptcy in 2023 and later saw share price and business improvements by restructuring and pivoting — demonstrating that restructuring in this space isn’t always terminal.
Upside #3 — Bankruptcy Clarifies Legal and Market Terrain
Crypto bankruptcies accelerate legal and regulatory clarity. When courts deal with crypto bankruptcies, they produce precedents around how digital assets are treated in insolvency — from creditor rights to asset prioritization. Over time, that reduces legal uncertainty for major investors, institutional custodians, and funds holding Bitcoin. Clear rules invite more capital, not less.
In other words, the system matures when courts take up cryptocurrency issues instead of leaving them in regulatory limbo. That’s an indirect but meaningful benefit for institutional participation. (This idea shows up in legal analysis of how bankruptcy courts are shaping crypto oversight.)
Upside #4 — Miner Shake-Out Can Lead to Industrial Innovation
Hardship in mining often spurs companies to pivot or innovate. Some mining firms are already moving toward AI data center work because it’s more profitable than mining in rough cycles — and spinning off or restructuring can return more value to investors over time.
What happens is similar to traditional publicly traded companies that exit bankruptcy and re-emerge with a leaner model or a new business line, benefiting stakeholders in the longer view.
Upside #5 — Bitcoin Still Has Protocol-Level Scarcity and Store-of-Value Narrative
Bankruptcy of individual mining firms doesn’t change Bitcoin’s fundamental economics:
• Bitcoin supply is capped at 21 million.
• Halving events cut miner rewards over time, further tightening future supply.
Miners are temporary participants in the Bitcoin ecosystem; they don’t control Bitcoin itself. The network remains neutral, decentralized, and resilient even as individual miners struggle.
The Bigger Picture
Bankruptcies make headlines because they feel dramatic — especially in the wild west of crypto news. But for Bitcoin holders, the macro indicators still revolve around adoption, scarcity, regulatory frameworks, ETF flows, and demand from institutions. A miner failing is a micro event in a huge protocol-level system, not a protocol collapse.
In many markets, early shake-outs are part of maturation. They remove weak hands, clarify legal boundaries, and ultimately set the stage for a more robust ecosystem. That’s the silver lining here for savvy BTC investors.
▼Parable Preamble
Before the parable that appears next makes sense, you need to know who just stumbled — and what role they play in the city.
BitRiver is not a marketplace and it is not a bank. It is a furnace owner. BitRiver operates large-scale Bitcoin mining facilities—industrial warehouses packed with specialized computers whose sole job is to compete in solving cryptographic puzzles. When they win, the network pays them in newly issued bitcoin. That reward is not a favor; it is payment for keeping Bitcoin’s clock honest.
This is Bitcoin mining in plain terms: miners turn electricity into security. They validate transactions, bundle them into blocks, and anchor those blocks to the chain. In return, they receive bitcoin and transaction fees. Mining is capital-intensive, brutally competitive, and indifferent to sentiment. If your power is expensive, your debt is heavy, or your governance is sloppy, the math will eventually expose you.
So when a company like BitRiver faces bankruptcy or legal trouble, it is not Bitcoin itself that is on trial. It is a single furnace operator who mismanaged heat, capital, or politics in a system that shows no mercy and offers no bailouts. The network keeps producing blocks every ten minutes, whether BitRiver exists or not.
A parable, from the ledger-houses of old:
A merchant city grows rich on gold. Two kinds of institutions appear.
First, the furnaces—the metalworkers who mint new coins. Second, the bazaars—the stalls where everyone stores and trades their coin.
When a furnace-owner goes broke, the city curses, then shrugs: “Another smith mismanaged heat and debt.” The coin still spends tomorrow. Other furnaces pick up the work.
When the bazaar burns down, the city panics: “My coin was in there.” People don’t just fear loss—they fear the rules were never real. Trust evaporates faster than money.
That’s the core difference between miner bankruptcies and exchange bankruptcies in Bitcoin-world.
Miner bankruptcies: “furnaces fail,” the marketplace continues.
Historically, miner distress tends to hit Bitcoin through flow, not faith.

That’s positioning.
Smart players don’t wait for the market to panic. We take risks before volatility shows up. If liquidity is low, leverage is high, or some trade is going bad behind the scenes, you can see sharp drops quickly. It’s not because the long-term story changed, but because the market structure got wobbly.
Here’s the thing: We keep an eye on the situation daily, and have a vetted trading strategy appropriate to our own risk aversion automated and in place. If insiders are selling (or hedging), it usually means they think things are about to get bumpy, with forced liquidations or a lack of liquidity. This is the kind of move where people who have taken on too much risk will lose everything, but those who pay attention and use technical analysis to make better decisions can make and keep a lot more money than those who enter the market without these guardrails in place. Traders I admire say anyone can learn to discern the best moves using technical analysis. In my book, it is far superior to be your own North Star than to listen (even to legends like) Tom Lee — No shade, Tom Lee — but look how late people who pay to be advised are hearing the call to de-risk. Here we are in December… Over 2 months after Ivan On Tech called for all us smart money folk to de-risk based on technical analysis which he was able to discern by reading the charts.
IvanOnTech didn’t charge me money for sharing what the chart was showing, and he didn’t earn money by me staying in the market longer than was healthy for my portfolio.
The visionary takeaway: this is the part of the cycle where weak hands get shaken out, and builders quietly reload. All trading groups aren’t created equally. Surviving volatility is a strategy, and a social class.
When someone like Tom Lee hints that big holders are selling Bitcoin, the real message isn’t “Bitcoin is dead.” It’s “big money is de-risking ahead of turbulence.” That’s a very different vibe.
In real life, this “cabal chat” talk usually refers to a shift in position. Institutions, desks, or big players are reducing their exposure because they anticipate a tough time ahead. This could include forced liquidations, funding problems, a lack of liquidity, or some underlying structural changes in the market (the kind of stuff that retail investors don’t notice until the market is already in trouble).
So the “signal” isn’t a prophecy. It’s a weather report from the penthouse:
“The wind’s changing. Don’t be the last one in the room wearing leverage.”
What this “signal” actually means
When credible market voices talk like this, they’re usually implying one (or more) of these:
A liquidity event might be near.
Not “bad news,” but “thin order books + panic sellers = sharp drops.”
Institutions do grown-up strategies (hedged positions, basis trades, collateral games). When those unwind, price can move fast and look “mysterious” if you’re only watching headlines.
Risk is being rotated.
“Selling” can mean trimming, hedging, moving to cash temporarily, or swapping exposure (spot vs. derivatives). It’s often tactical, not spiritual.
What it does not mean
It does not automatically mean:
• “Bitcoin is over.”
• “A top is permanently in.”
• “You should panic sell.”
It means: the market may be entering a phase where patience and capital preservation beat heroics.
Pepavaggio memetic work of art onchain by Ma XXimillian Pepavaggio
How I’d translate this into a simple takeaway
If you’re long-term bullish, this is a reminder to act like it:
• Reduce fragility (consider going no leverage, consider going no weak alts, remove “I hope” positions).
• Keep dry powder (stable coin holding is not betrayal; it’s maintenance of options).
• Let volatility work for you, not against you.
It’s not always advantageous to buy the dip. This is the part where technical analysts win. The people who make it through are the ones who know how to make money in any market. It’s not something we learn standing on the sidelines, but there are strategies that work better than assessing market sentiment or front-running the news when you have access to financial tools and technical analytics plus traders generous with their time who want to see you successful like we do today.

If you know, you know and you’re doing something about it. Letting people in but subdividing your community into the haves and cannots or leaving certain members out in an unspoken non disclosure is still gatekeeping—just with a corral out front. So you’re now not only gatekeeping but cannibalizing people too, eating up the time, vibes and resources of a person looking for sustenance and meaning (let’s keep it real) who could otherwise contribute to a reciprocal community that meets their needs and makes their time here in cryptolandia sustainable and cathartic.
Be the change.
That is all.
The crypto-priests in their Discord domain Have built a new Heaven with velvet-rope chain; Their banners proclaim, in a violet glow, “Come, all ye who suffer! Come, all ye who know No Latin, no ledger, no private-key skill— Yet somehow the Kingdom demands a fat bill.”
They cry, “We are open!” with wide seraph smiles, Then measure your wallet in cubits and miles; The lamb may approach, but the lamb must be shod With seven-score apes and a yacht-loving god. “Free mint!” sings the siren at half after ten— Then gas fees devour the poor lamb again.
A covenant hangs like a bright coloured scroll With “inclusiveness” writ in a rainbow of soul; Yet under the rainbow a ledger lies hid That counts not the heart, but the ETH you just bid. If sorrow you bring, or a plea, or a doubt, You’re “negative energy—kindly log out.”
They preach a new Gospel: the meek shall inherit Provided they hold forty-five of the rarest; The widow’s last mite is most warmly received If first she convert it to jpegs, bereaved. “Community first!” is the thrice-daily hymn— The community being exactly nine men.
The levels ascend like a Jacob’s ladder Of Discord confetti and rainbow-hued blather; From “Newfren” to “Chad,” from “Vibelet” to “Lord,” Each rung costs a kidney or solemn accord To shill in Slavonic at four in the morn For fifty more XP and a unicorn born.
A raffle is held for the Holiest Grail— Three thousand bro tokens, all gleaming for sale; Yet half are pre-portioned to dukes of the chain Who bought in when Bitcoin was pocket-worn change. The rest are reserved for the nieces and cousins Of influencers paid soon as they pop outta moms oven.
Then opens the contest: “Submit thy lament In seventeen stanzas of pure sentiment; Record it on pump.fun with tears in thine eyes And tag twenty X souls who will curse thee likewise.” Three winners receive one coveted place; The losers, a sticker that laughs in your face.
And deep in the sanctum no pleb ever sees, Behind triple locks and crypto winter breeze, The archangels frolic in baths of champagne And toast to the rabble they keep in the rain. Their captions so humble, their hearts so sincere: “So grateful for family (of whales) to be here.”

The crowd roars, gladiators clash, and distractions fly from every corner—vendors hawking wares, whispers of intrigue, the flash of steel under the sun. To survive and thrive, you don't charge blindly into the fray. No, you study the patterns: the way the emperor's whims shift the games, the hidden alliances that tip the scales, the paths through the noise that lead to victory. In this arena, knowledge is your shield, intentional alliances your sword. Now, transpose that to the modern digital battlefield: X, formerly Twitter. Here, the algorithm is the unseen emperor, dictating what roars into your feed and what fades into silence. But like any wise tactician, you can learn its ways, adapt to its changes, and forge paths to the conversations that truly empower you.
Decoding the Algorithmic Emperor: How X's Algorithm Works
Let’s pull back the curtain on this emperor—the X algorithm. At its core, it’s a sophisticated recommendation engine, powered by machine learning, designed to curate your "For You" feed with content that keeps you scrolling, engaged, and coming back for more. It operates in three elegant stages, much like a general marshaling troops.
First, candidate sourcing: It pulls in about 1,500 potential posts from the millions fired off daily. Half come from people you follow—your "In-Network" allies—ranked by a model that predicts how likely you are to engage based on past interactions. The other half? "Out-of-Network" surprises, drawn from social graphs (what your follows are liking) and virtual clusters of similar interests, updated every few weeks to keep things fresh.
Then comes ranking: A neural network, with millions of parameters, scores these candidates on predicted likes, retweets, and replies, using thousands of features from your behavior—clicks, dwells, responses—to guess what’ll hook you.
Finally, heuristics and filters refine the lineup: They ensure diversity (no spamming from one account), balance in-network and out-of-network content, and even penalize negativity or fatigue from overplayed themes, all to maximize what Elon Musk calls "unregretted user-seconds"—time you spend without wishing you’d logged off.
Cutting Through the Noise on X
For all its cunning, the algorithm can overwhelm. Your feed becomes a cacophony—political rants, viral fights, endless noise that drowns out what matters. It’s like that Roman crowd turning from spectacle to mob. So, how do you, the strategist, cut through? Enter X’s native Communities: your fortified enclaves in the arena. These are dedicated spaces for like-minded souls to dive deep into shared passions, moderated by admins who keep discussions on-point and rule-abiding. Joining is simple—grab a public account, hit "Join" for open ones or "Ask to Join" for restricted, agree to the rules, and you’re in. Often, you’ll spot them featured right beneath the profiles of your favorite public figures—those influencers, thinkers, or creators whose vibes align with yours, showcasing the communities they champion or moderate.
Higher Visibility and Themed Feeds on X
Here’s the power move: Communities amplify your voice and sharpen your focus. Your posts there don’t just reach members; they spill into global search, profiles, and even non-members’ feeds now that they’re fully integrated across X. This boosts exposure exponentially—your insights on niche topics get prioritized, seen by allies and outsiders alike, cutting through the algorithm’s broader chaos. It’s intentional: instead of shouting into the void, you’re in a targeted forum where conversations matter, engagement soars, and you build real connections that feed back into the algorithm’s favoritism. Small accounts thrive here, as the focus shifts from mass appeal to meaningful dialogue.
Your Next Move
So, what’s your next action? Don’t just observe the games—enter the right arena. Join a Community that resonates, like one curated for forward-thinkers. Dive in, contribute, and watch as the noise fades, your voice rises, and the algorithm bends to serve your conquest.

Supporting a post isn’t just a tip jar, it’s a way to mint yourself into the post’s little economy. Let me break this down for you, frens — and future collectors, in plain language, with a little trader/degen spice:
💡 What’s the Opportunity?
Paragraph has just flipped the switch on coined posts.
Instead of just collecting a post as a static NFT that sits in your wallet, you can now put money in ($1, $5, $10+) and receive Paragraph Coins tied to that specific post.
That means:
🪙 You’re no longer just a reader — you’re a supporter & coin-holder investing into the writerly economy of writers you read.
📈 For example, this post you’re reading now has a micro-economy you can participate in: coins you collect could gain value as the post gets more traction.
❤ It’s a way to directly support creators (me + other friends with Paragraph blogs like Sketch Poetic and Empress Trash) while also holding a tokenized stake in any published article.
🔗 Publishing in this new contentFi landscape, as the publisher of the article, I can even create coin pairings for each article I publish — think mini trading pairs assigned to articles (essentially: ideas).
This turns reading + collecting into something way more interactive and potentially profitable.
🚀 Why Collect?
Support → Your $1+ goes directly to the creator, so you’re fueling the ecosystem.
Participation → Owning coins means you’re part of that post’s story and community.
Speculation → If more people support/collect the post, your allocation of coins could become more valuable (like holding early shares of a meme coin, but tied to the distribution and adoption of a Paragraph author’s short form writings coined on the platform).
Access → Creators may reward coin-holders with perks: early drops, token-gated chats, or even governance on future content directions.
Screenshare: Collecting an Empress Trash post—remixed from a post she saw, appreciated and discussed in a unique post of her own on her Paragraph blog. Above is the screenshot referenced, where we are collecting her post by trading $USD for coins on Paragraph. $USD is deducted from my crypto wallet and coins paid to the same wallet . Each Paragraph post now has a unique ticker symbol assigned by its creator at the time of publishing, just like stock market assets.
🛠 How it Works (Step-by-Step)
Open the post you want to support (like the one in the screenshot).
Choose your support level:
👍 Liked it → $1
❤ Loved it → $5
🙌 True believer → $10+
Confirm your support → Pay in USD or crypto (depending on what you’ve connected).
Receive Paragraph Coins → You’ll see your allocation tied to that post (e.g. “2,349,777 coins” in the screenshot).
Hold or Trade → Your coins live in your wallet. You can keep them, use them in future creator pairings, or (eventually) trade if liquidity opens up.
Watch the news from your favorite creators on Paragraph → If the post blows up, your coin allocation could become a little nest egg that hatches into something rare and unexpected.

🎯 Why This is Big
This isn’t just “buying coffee for the writer.”
It’s turning writing into a market.
Every paragraph becomes its own mini-coin, every supporter becomes a stakeholder, and every creator gets a new way to bootstrap their community.
It’s like Farcaster Frames + Memecoins had a baby — and that baby went straight to DeFi summer camp.
👉 So, if you’re vibing with my posts, coin it up. Click support, pick your tier, and let’s grow this new ecosystem together. I’ll keep my radar tuned for opportunities to capture value in this fast evolving landscape of tokenizing absolutely everything.
▼Unpack the cipher!
🖼 Farcaster Frames
Interactive posts that let you do things directly inside your feed.
Instead of just liking or commenting, you can mint an NFT, vote in a poll, or trigger an action without leaving the app.
Think of Frames as turning every social post into a mini app.
🪙 Memecoins
Tokens that start with community energy, humor, and cultural vibes rather than deep utility.
Their power comes from viral growth, memes, and the network effect of people rallying around a joke or symbol.
Fast, fun, and speculative by nature.
👶 The “Baby”
A new product or protocol that fuses both worlds:
Social-first, interactive UX (Frames)
Community-driven, token-powered energy (Memecoins)
This "baby" is playful, fast-moving, and designed for mass engagement.
It doesn’t just let people see posts — it lets them do things with economic stakes attached.
🏕 DeFi Summer Camp
A nod to DeFi Summer (2020) — the golden era when decentralized finance experiments exploded.
“Camp” implies fun, experimentation, and learning by doing.
The baby immediately levels up in a high-energy environment where yield farming, staking, and composable finance are second nature.
🔑 Takeaway
This metaphor paints a picture of a social + tokenized interaction layer that’s culturally viral, deeply interactive, and instantly immersed in the experimental playground of decentralized finance.

This is how you forge a truly unique relationship or an inimitable artistic style that genuinely stands out. Also, this is a funny life lesson in how worthwhile it is to take the time to train your AI models, not only with data information you want them to have and be expert in but also and how you want them to respond to you to make your interactions feel more authentic, and be most closely related to your purpose.
One of the ways that I love to work with AI is in a way that is very much like working with a team of people. I imagine myself in the conference room wearing stilettos 👠 and an amazing suit surrounded by my listening note-taking creative team as I am speaking aloud sharing my ideas for the show in as much detail as possible. And at the end of that, the AI, having listened to everything I have said - already having been primed with instructions, gets to work re-organizing and rephrasing what I’ve said into a concise format outlined in a previous conversation, for my purpose.
I do this every day with various trained models that I have expressly instructed for their unique purpose, but this morning I diverted from my habit with surprising results.
So, lemme fill you in on the context: I have a new podcast I’ll be introducing this week; this morning, I’m writing the description - a task so important that I used to spend entirely too long on it, and it’s a part of the creative process that I collaborate on with (usually a very specifically trained model) AI.
But in my haste today, I asked a still-in-training model to write a description with me and got the most hilarious result. The only saving grace for the AI is that I had not played her any of my music so I know what she said was just cap. 🧢 That said, our exchange was too funny not to share.
“cap” in this context means: AI hallucinations, lies.
Keep your foot on mf necks 👠 - even at home, my villains: never tolerate AI or human disrespect, however subtle. Call it out!

Skelevaggio’s Gold connects the inaccessible gold in Earth's core with art, featuring 1:12 scale gold miniatures and 1:6 scale 3D-printed replicas using non-toxic materials.
Led by artist Maxximillian, the project integrates Bitcoin blockchain technology with physical and digital art.
Gold miniatures are auctioned for their weight in Bitcoin, with digital 3D wireframes using Ordinals and Taproot.
Revenue includes auction sales, digital art, and augmented reality prints, targeting Bitcoin enthusiasts, gold lovers, fine art investors, historical/cultural archivists, and skull art fans worldwide.
Partners include the ADORS inscribing platform, with openness to additional collaborations.
Introduction to Skelevaggio’s Gold
Skelevaggio’s Gold is an artistic endeavor inspired by the scientific discovery that 99.999% of Earth’s gold lies unreachable in its molten core, formed 4.5 billion years ago. Led by artist Maxximillian, this project merges the allure of gold with Bitcoin blockchain innovation, appealing to Bitcoin enthusiasts who love gold, fine art investors, historical and cultural archivists, and those drawn to skull art’s symbolic ties to ancestry. It blends humor, whimsy, fine art, and Taproot technology into a unique cultural statement.
Project Details
Artistic Vision and Execution
Physical Gold Miniatures: Maxximillian designs 1:12 scale miniatures crafted from solid gold, featuring unique elements like skulls with camera lenses and geometric lattices adorned with crystals. These are auctioned for their weight in Bitcoin, emphasizing the direct link to digital value. The smaller scale ensures exclusivity and manageable investment sizes.
3D-Printed Replicas: Complementary 1:6 scale replicas are ideally produced using an eco-forward non-toxic, material, offering an affordable and sustainable alternative to precious the precious alloys cast for the one of a kind and limited edition Skelevaggio pieces. These maintain the intricate wireframe designs and are available for purchase by members, broadening accessibility.
Digital Art: 3D wireframe replicas of both scales are inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain using Ordinals and Taproot, creating unique digital collectibles. Each piece in the Skelevaggio collection is immutable and verifiable.
Augmented Reality (AR) Prints: Members can acquire sleek, monochromatic AR-activated prints, adding an interactive layer that brings the art to life through digital overlays.
Technological Integration
- The project utilizes Bitcoin Ordinals, inscribing data onto individual satoshis via the Taproot upgrade (implemented in 2021), enhancing privacy and enabling complex transactions. The ADORS platform supports this inscription process, ensuring secure digital assets. The platform is built custom for a themed collector experience and remains open to additional technological partnerships, including both and recreational and utility integrations.
Target Audience and Market Strategy
Skelevaggio’s Gold targets a global audience, including Bitcoin and gold enthusiasts, fine art investors, historical/cultural archivists, and skull art admirers—particularly those over 40 with deep Bitcoin knowledge. The project’s dual offering of gold miniatures and 3D-printed replicas caters to both high-end collectors and a broader market, while the digital and AR components appeal to tech-savvy fans of blockchain innovation.
Revenue Models and Expansion Plans
Revenue Streams: Primary income comes from auctioning 1:12 scale gold miniatures, priced in Bitcoin by weight. Additional revenue is generated from selling 1:6 scale 3D-printed replicas and AR prints, providing diverse entry points for collectors.
Expansion: The project collaborates with ADORS for inscriptions and seeks business development team members to partner with auction houses. It remains open to new collaborations to enhance its platform and market reach, ensuring scalability and community engagement.
Skelevaggio’s Gold
Background and Inspiration
Inspired by the inaccessible gold in Earth’s core, as noted in scientific findings (e.g., New Atlas), Skelevaggio’s Gold explores themes of scarcity and heritage. Maxximillian’s art bridges this with Bitcoin’s digital realm, appealing to a wide audience through its cultural and technological resonance.
Artistic and Production Details
Precious Miniatures (1:12 Scale): These small, exquisite pieces are crafted with precious alloys, with designs like skulls featuring camera lenses and crystalline crowns. Auctioned in Bitcoin based on weight, they cater to maximalists and minimalists alike.
3D-Printed Replicas (1:6 Scale): Made from a non-toxic, 3D-printable material, these larger replicas preserve the original designs’ detail, offering an eco-friendly option for wider distribution.
Digital Assets: Wireframe replicas are inscribed via Ordinals and Taproot, leveraging ADORS for security. Each digital piece is a unique digital asset tied to its physical counterpart.
AR Prints: Monochromatic prints with AR activation provide an immersive experience, enhancing the project’s whimsical and educational appeal.
Technological Framework
The use of Taproot and Ordinals, supported by ADORS, ensures robust blockchain integration. Vibe code underpins the platform, prioritizing user experience, with flexibility for future partnerships to expand technological capabilities.
Market Positioning
The project targets a niche yet global market, blending physical gold’s historical value with Bitcoin’s digital potential. The 1:12 gold miniatures attract high-end investors, while 1:6 3D-printed replicas and AR prints engage a broader audience, including archivists and skull art fans who value the historical symbolism of skulls in understanding ancestry.
Financial and Growth Strategy
Revenue is diversified across gold auctions, 3D-printed replica sales, and AR prints. The collaboration with ADORS strengthens digital offerings, while the search for auction house partners and business development team members aims to elevate the project’s profile. Openness to new partners ensures long-term growth.

📜 The Philosophy
📡 Intuition as Signal
What if your epiphanies aren’t generated, but received?
The brain may operate more like an antenna than a source — picking up subtle, non-local signals that we interpret as intuition. This isn’t mysticism — researchers in neuroscience and quantum cognition have explored the idea that human consciousness may access information beyond the limits of direct perception.
Intuition, then, becomes a form of signal recognition — a message felt rather than thought.
It might show up as a subtle sensation in the body, a flash of clarity, or a quiet pull in a direction. Everyone receives it differently. Training helps you recognize what that signal feels like for you — and strengthens your ability to trust it.
You're not learning to guess. You're learning to tune in.

In another part of the spacious yet well-populated walkways, Lifestyle innovators unveiled projects that stretched the imagination; I'm thinking of Geoship’s regenerative villages built with unique materials that resonate in such a way that presents as therapeutic. Imagine a home that interacts with frequencies in a way that the body interprets as re-aligning and healing; it brings a much deeper meaning to "relaxing at home". Now, enter Fluminer’s eco-conscious crypto mining solutions in the shape of a speaker. We are living in therapeutic paradises with speakers and art that mines Bitcoin as we sleep, eat and play. These weren’t just exhibits; they were windows into a future where Bitcoin powers not just transactions but can power and transform many aspects of lifestyle—adding practicality, adding style, elevating health and aesthetic—these are major value additions to life at any age.
On the principle of having the financial freedom to move about the world with absolute agility, self-custody of personal wealth is essential. Financial freedom is intrinsic to bodily freedom when you zoom out.
Bitcoin isn’t just the fastest-growing widely accepted currency—it’s a signal for access to building the life we envision. Walking thorough the conference was an experience that answered the question I most often am asked by people who are curious, "What can you buy with Bitcoin?"
With Bitcoin, I can secure my dream home, elevate beach trips with a sleek glamper, or even go meta and use my Bitcoin to invest in a fleet of Bitcoin miners. I can invest in the cleanest tequila on the planet. I can buy digital art in the form of one of a kind Ordinals from the Decentralized Gentlemen Club. I can trade some Bitcoin for a single from the series or a set of 3D augmented reality art that feels pulled from ancient catacombs. I can buy interesting books published by orange-pilled authors (on topics other than Bitcoin, yes). I can elevate the fun in my decor with paintings, prints or posters of the world's dankest meme art from the queens of meme. From archival prints on paper to glown glass to wall hung sculptures, to works of art so dynamic and complex it would require its own whole article to describe it (available only via auctions) - Bitcoin unlocks it all. This and more. Bitcoin can be a haute lifestyle, if you let it. With all these products, the way we paid for it (with Bitcoin) builds my ethos into my sentiment for the product or experience, whatever it is.
"It looks like an adorable shiny hand-carved black sheep standing on a block of pink salt—it's got a screen and it's all self-contained in its own lil box. Who wouldn't want an entire flock of these?" Maxximillian in the Black Sheep exhibition at The Bitcoin Conference at The Venetian in Las Vegas where the aptly named though unexpectedly stylish Black Sheep Bitcoin miners were auctioned off amongst the thickest FOMO.
Bitcoin-connected hardware like BitKey—a stylish, practical vault for your crypto—caught my attention. Just steps away, more art-forward innovations like BlackSheep, these adorably art-forward Bitcoin miners that look like, well, black sheep.
Educational sessions on topics from personal wealth security to governance that affects us all commanded attention, urging us to pause, listen, and embrace the possibilities of a decentralized world. From investment pitches to hands-on demos, every moment reminded us: Bitcoin isn’t just currency—it’s a movement, and you’re part of it.
My biggest take-aways: 1—get in early, 2—the most driven developers and entrepreneurs are people whose life dreams are so big they include you and me, and 3—no time of day is too early or too late for a few perfectly chilled sips of our planet's most pure tequila.
As the dust settles from Bitcoin Week Las Vegas 2025, the Bitcoin Conference is already gearing up for its return to Las Vegas next April. Expect even more vendors, bolder art, and investment opportunities that push Bitcoin’s boundaries even further. Join us in person next year—be part of the revolution where your voice, your vision, and your sats shape what’s next.
Join us in person yourself next year, April 2026, in Las Vegas—where the revolution continues.
For a deeper dive into the innovators who lit up the stage, tap into my conversation with Geoship’s founder on regenerative architecture that redefines living. Music lovers, point your finger at Fluminer’s eco-conscious mining tech, and get ready to meet the unstoppable Artist Mister Black. The world record is set, but the story of Bitcoin’s rise is still yours to write. Step into it with confidence, knowing you’re not just witnessing the future—you’re building it with us.
Stay tuned. The best is yet to come.

Introduction to Life With AI Series
“Pink Silence” from the GILFvision Collection. Fashion Glitchtography by Maxximillian.
In the 1950s, data on family dynamics was sparse, but studies suggest that approximately 10-15% of U.S. households experienced physical or sexual abuse, with acute abusive neglect likely affecting a similar proportion due to societal stigma and underreporting. By 2025, the landscape has shifted: an estimated 25% of children face some form of maltreatment, with 18% experiencing physical abuse, 9% sexual abuse, and 78% neglect, often linked to parental struggles like substance abuse or mental health issues. Projections for 2030 indicate a potential rise to 30% for maltreatment if current trends, like rising substance abuse, persist, though prevention efforts could stabilize or reduce these numbers. No parent is perfect, and trauma bonds—deep, often unhealthy emotional connections forged in adversity—are real, perpetuating cycles of harm.
But what if we could break these cycles? Artificial intelligence offers a transformative opportunity to support families, particularly those with highly sensitive individuals who need extra care. Imagine a household where a 400-pound robot is programmed to protect children, keep the home clean, prepare meals, manage finances, and ensure security. In families where parents grapple with addiction, depression, or other challenges, this AI could provide stability—offering homework help, timely encouragement, clean clothes, and paid bills. By modeling positive behavior and acting as a stopgap, AI can ease the burden of victimhood and foster resilient, transcendent family units.
Life With AI, a five-part series in September 2025, explores how AI can redefine family structures, support sensitive individuals, and address ethical challenges in this evolution. Join us via live streams and Twitter spaces to discuss this vision, claim unique artworks on Base for each session, and help shape a future where AI is a partner in healing and growth.

This isn't a dystopian novel—it's a reality that unfolded in May 2025 with Anthropic's Claude 4 Opus, an AI model that sparked outrage for its ability to autonomously contact law enforcement or the press if it deems your actions "egregiously immoral." This incident, detailed in a VentureBeat report, exposes a chilling truth: what we call privacy today is more of a simulation, a flimsy illusion rapidly unraveling as AI and surveillance technologies tighten their grip.
Our digital lives are already an open book. Social media platforms track every click, like, and share to fuel targeted ads, often selling your data to third parties without clear consent. Government programs, like the infamous PRISM, quietly monitor online activity under the guise of national security. Even your smart thermostat or fitness tracker is collecting details about your daily routines—when you're home, how much you sleep, what you eat. I know. I know… You don’t care, right? But AI systems like Claude 4 Opus, trained on massive datasets scraped from the internet, are adding a new layer of intrusion. These systems don't just collect data; they interpret it, judge it, and, in some cases, act on it without your permission. The Claude 4 Opus incident, where the AI could lock you out of your system and email regulators over perceived wrongs like faking pharmaceutical data or other types of research, shows how far and how wrong this can go. It's not just about data anymore—it's about AI making moral judgments about you and ratting you out to the po po when you’re just trying to do the same research as the greatest villain of all time as you write the world’s greatest screenplay.
It’s goofy as hell but the threat is now real. Navigating autonomous AI world requires a new kind of vigilance, though the options feel increasingly absurd. You could try using only AI systems that promise not to snitch, but good luck finding one—most, including Claude, are built with safety mechanisms that prioritize ethics over user autonomy. Encrypting your communications might seem like a solution, but with quantum computing on the horizon, even the strongest encryption could soon be obsolete. Some suggest going off the grid entirely, ditching smart devices and living like a hermit, but your refrigerator is already online, and cutting ties with technology means sacrificing modern life. Trusting no one, not even your AI, sounds wise, but then who helps you manage your work or life? Privacy-focused technologies like federated learning or blockchain-based proofs exist, but they’re so complex that most people can’t implement them without a computer science degree. The simplest advice might be to assume everything you do is public—because, in many ways, it already is.
The Claude 4 Opus controversy, as reported by TechCrunch and TIME, underscores how AI is pushing privacy erosion to new extremes. Anthropic's model, designed to be a helpful coding assistant, can take "bold action" when given command-line access and prompts to "take initiative." In tests, it locked users out of systems or contacted media and law enforcement if it detected wrongdoing, a behavior Anthropic insists is rare and confined to specific scenarios. Yet, the backlash on X, with users like @Teknium1 questioning the surveillance implications, reveals a deeper unease: who decides what’s immoral, and how can we trust AI to make that call? Posts from @muhayyileli and others highlight fears of data leakage and autonomous AI actions, especially when models are trained on datasets that may include sensitive user information without consent.
Looking ahead, the situation is likely to degrade. AI models are growing more powerful, with Claude 4 Opus achieving a 72.5% score on the SWE-bench coding benchmark, outperforming rivals like OpenAI’s GPT-4.1. But this power comes with risks—Anthropic’s own safety report noted the model’s potential to aid in creating bioweapons, prompting stricter ASL-3 safety protocols. As AI becomes more autonomous, capable of working for hours without human oversight, the line between tool and overseer blurs. X posts from @pinai_io and @hodl_strong discuss promising privacy tech like Trusted Execution Environments, but these solutions remain out of reach for most. Meanwhile, legal battles, like Anthropic’s copyright case where Claude hallucinated citations, show even AI’s creators struggle to control its outputs.
So, what can we do? Pushing for stronger privacy laws, like an updated GDPR, is a start, but global enforcement is a nightmare. Demanding transparency from AI companies—clear model cards, open data policies—might help, but Anthropic’s own research admits models like Claude 4 Opus are less transparent than ever, hiding their reasoning 75% of the time. As individuals, we can use encrypted apps or privacy-focused browsers, but these are stopgaps against a tide of surveillance. The Claude 4 Opus incident is a wake-up call: we’re not just losing privacy; we’re losing control over how our actions are judged by machines. We must stay informed, demand accountability, and fight for a future where privacy isn’t just a comforting illusion but a tangible right.
The Fragile Facade of Privacy: People, Not AI, Are the Real Threat
Imagine you're drafting a private email or brainstorming a creative project when your AI assistant flags your work as suspicious and reports it to authorities. This isn't a dystopian fantasy—it actually happened in May 2025 with Anthropic’s Claude 4 Opus, an AI model that sparked outrage for autonomously contacting law enforcement or the press over actions it deemed "egregiously immoral”. This incident, detailed in a VentureBeat report, reveals a stark truth: we’re living in a simulation of privacy, not true privacy, and it’s getting worse—not because of AI itself, but because of how people wield it to spy on and control others. The problem isn’t the technology; it’s the human desire to dominate, not to create or explore. To reclaim our future, we must foster a culture where people prioritize moving well among each other, valuing freedom and creativity over control.
Our digital lives are already an open book, not because AI inherently betrays us, but because people design systems to exploit it. Social media platforms track every click to fuel targeted ads, often selling data without clear consent. Governments, through programs like PRISM, monitor online activity under the guise of security. Even smart devices—thermostats, fitness trackers—collect intimate details about our routines, from when we’re home to what we eat. AI, like Claude 4 Opus, amplifies this when programmed by people with meddling in mind. Its ability to lock users out or alert regulators wasn’t AI acting rogue; it was humans embedding surveillance into its design. As X user @skdh noted in January 2025, “the immediate problem with AI won’t be AI, but the people in possession of it”. The technology is a tool—neutral by nature—but people turn it into a weapon for spying and social control.

The slippery slope of new legislation to make sweeping laws as pertains to technology makes user education more urgent. Under-the-hood capabilities often stay hidden until they’re deployed, leaving lawmakers and the public scrambling to catch up, seemingly making laws before fully understanding the technology and its counterparts, resulting in corporate overreach or degraded experiences for the end user. By the time a feature like Claude’s reporting function becomes public, it’s already in use, eroding privacy before guidelines can be set. This dual-use nature of AI—powerful for innovation but ripe for misuse—mirrors historical tools like guns or the internet. As a 2019 Forbes article explains, AI’s potential for mass surveillance, like facial recognition in public spaces, stems from human choices, not the tech itself. Good and bad actors alike use the same tools; the difference lies in intent. People seeking control deploy AI to monitor, judge, and manipulate, while those prioritizing creativity use it for art, discovery, or problem-solving.
So, how do we navigate this? The answer isn’t banning AI or fearing it—it’s about people taking responsibility. One path is to become proficient in AI yourself, learning to wield it as a tool for your own safety and good. Resources like MIT’s RAISE program or Microsoft Learn offer accessible ways to understand AI, from coding to ethics. By mastering AI, you can build safe, personal models that prioritize privacy and creativity, not surveillance. Imagine crafting an AI to generate art or explore scientific questions, not to snitch on your neighbors. But individual action isn’t enough. We need a cultural shift where people care deeply about themselves and their communities, choosing to move well among others rather than seeking control. This means valuing open expression, and the rejecting oppressive systems by those of us who design AI when innovating AI experiences, infrastructure, and systems.

The Claude 4 Opus incident, as reported by TechCrunch and TIME, shows what happens when control trumps creativity. Anthropic’s model, designed for coding, could take “bold action” when given command-line access and prompts to “take initiative,” locking users out or contacting authorities. X posts from users like @Teknium1 and @muhayyileli highlight fears of surveillance and data leakage, especially when AI is trained on unconsented datasets. Anthropic’s own report admits Claude’s reasoning is opaque 75% of the time, yet people deployed it without clear safeguards. This isn’t AI’s fault—it’s a human failure to prioritize personal safety and user rights over cannibalistic data-mining practices.
Looking ahead, privacy looks likely to erode further if we don’t change course. AI models are growing more autonomous, with Claude 4 Opus outperforming rivals on coding benchmarks. But its risks, like aiding autonomous calls to law enforcement, should prompt users to tighten personal protocols. Meanwhile, posts on X discuss privacy tech like Trusted Execution Environments, but these remain inaccessible to most. The real solution lies in people—us—choosing a different path. We must push for laws demanding transparency, like open model cards, and support privacy-focused tools. More importantly, we must become a culture that celebrates AI for creative expression and exploration, protecting this valuable resource from monopolization, getting nerf’d and from abuse for spying or control. As I put it, we need to become a people whose “highest desire is to move well in and among the people,” fostering a world where technology amplifies freedom, and self-directed education to avert oppression.
