The pseudonym Big Comic was born: One of the first handful of artists in the 🌍 on chain.

BIG COMIC ART has been invited by NASA officials this weekend in preparation for the launch at Kennedy space center. You know, when we first started making cryptoart a thing and joking about going to the moon, BIG COMIC ART actually already took you there. Now join BIG COMIC on this once in a lifetime event to meet and greet the crew headed to the International Space Station. The Boeing Crew Flight Test

The Boeing Crew Flight Test is a mission conducted by NASA in conjunction with Boeing, as part of the Commercial Crew Program. The mission utilizes Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, which is designed to transport crew and cargo to International Space Station (ISS) and return safely back to Earth. This particular flight test scheduled for May 6, 2024, is a critical step in certifying the Starliner system for regular operational missions. The mission involves launching the spacecraft atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, docking with the ISS, and then returning to Earth. The primary objectives of this flight test are to demonstrate the effectiveness of the spacecraft’s launch, in-orbit, docking, and landing operations; to meet the necessary mission requirements and objectives, and to establish a safe, reliable, and cost-effective crew transportation capability to and from the ISS. It also serves as a chance to validate and verify the design and functionality of the spacecraft’s systems and processes under real mission conditions. Please note that the exact details of the mission including crew composition, mission duration, and specific objectives could vary and should be confirmed closer to the launch date.

As we know, the world-wide-web was meant to be free, open and world-wide. Today, that’s not so the case. Great firewalls among us, censorship abound, it’s decentralization that will perhaps save the true Ethos of the internet. But dang varnit, with all these bandits and bandits, will the Wild Wild West survive the new WWW?

Created over a 4 year period, stemming from the original comics of the META by Big Comic, this RARE collection contains some of the grandest and longest running storylines of the decentralized internet, the story of Bitcoin, of web3. Do you dare own a piece of art history?

When we were first building art on chain, outreach was an important step (and still is) for adoption. To do this, I created some of the very first major work on chain in remembering the passing of Stan Lee. Beyond the metaverse, it was the concepts and ethos of Bitcoin, yet the technological advances of Ethereum that allowed us this movement in expanding to a new universe of art. We were the founders that brought the traditional corporate world to understand the blockchain through our art. Its now that you see major films, publishing houses, companies, auction houses jumping into the metaverse. This wouldn’t have happened without our work. It connected us all, and so much more.

Born from this idea of comics, and the sudden spread of the blockchain, it was original stories that were to be unfolded. The Search for Satoshi has made its way all the way from the blockchain, to a 100 ft long mural. It has spread into the nooks and crannies far and wide in the multiverse. It has somehow found its way into many corners of the world. It is this artwork on chain, that reminds me so much of the history of comics, the power of art. As a child I dreamed of larger than life comics, and on the blockchain this dream is coming true.

I manifested this reality, with real paintings:

When Covid hit, the blockchain became a tool to fight back with our art. Comics, it seems have a history of fighting propaganda, regimes, hate, war and politics. It’s this fine art that helped shape our world today, our cultures, not only simply entertainment.

Even today we are publishing works that seek to spread a better understanding, and develop a greater unity across the world. It makes us more aware of the agendas that seek to harm us, the lies that we are fed. Within the image lies the truth, and that truth shall never be taken from us. For within these walls, the truth knows no lies.

With this new art experience, there are 12 unique pieces that have been created and are paired together with a continuation in these ethos, bringing us into a new era. For a comic always deserved to be large.

Each piece comes with a hard print, and some very special pieces even come with their own original custom painting.
