I’m too tired to be active on socials, promote my art AND accomplish everything I want with | wordstobepoetry |

but then, when I focus 100000% on my project, I feel guilty for not promoting it & sharing more of it and my creative process with all of you.

And I feel I loose the algo’s + your interest in what I create

This past weekend's music madness is still grooving in my cells, and it’s already time to think about the next one!

I can’t wait to take our getaway to discover a festival in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, France which has been on my bucket list for way too long: Guitare en Scène.

And what better for a first visit to this festival dedicated to the mastery of guitar playing than with Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals?

All I know is the thought of it inspired me:

|| breed the rave ||

a finger or two, a chord or a bee, and a riff by the sea —here come the strings to breed the rave music threads in our heads

Every time I hear one of Tyla’s songs, I start dancing like there’s no tomorrow—the way her voice blends into her amapiano gets me crazy.

It’s no surprise: her catalog is an amapiano banger: “Water”, “CHANEL”, “PUSH 2 START (to name a few) are all on the starting blocks to make you dance until the break of dawn.

I remember writing a lot of poems on the dance floor as her catalog was blasting through the speakers—Yet, as I was listening to her new songs, it was the way she stepped down the rhythm on “IS IT LOVE” that inspired me.

Last night marked the start of the highly awaited 60th Montreux Jazz Festival. And this edition has already mic-dropped all expectations: Raye opened the festival with an intimate tailor-made love letter to the festival featuring—cherry on the top—two music legends on stage to perform with her: Mark Ronson and none other than Queen Alicia Keys.

At this point, I feel useless to tell you more to convince you to come asap to Montreux. You know the rest of this edition will follow up on all expectations.

2:51 am—last handful of glue, shiny paper, all is set. I take a few steps back. There it is, standing tall in front of me, on one of my favorite walls in El Born:

My 1,5 m paste-up tribute to ROSALÍA’s performance in Barcelona during her 2026 LUX Tour.

A performance? Call it a work of art—I’ve rarely seen this kind of perfection on stage. And I’ve been on the road for the past 20+ years…

All I remember is running home after the show to draw “divinize” lyrics, unable to get my mind out of the trip it put me into…and, two months later, it’s still a challenge to put what I’ve experienced that night into words. { who knows, maybe it’ll pop up on | wordstobemusic | — vol.5’s pages }

So, when I went back to Barcelona earlier this month, I left a note about that night, to remind all of us what ROSALÍA left on our minds that night

can’t believe I’m finally holding it in my hands!!

after all the endless hours creating every page, from the text to the layout, design, the concept, the drawings, the stories, the poems…..hours stuck in front of the computer/the tablet, with no more words to think and a thousand more to draw/write….it feels surreal!!!!

still a few step to go: build the website, its web3 twin, write a bit more and voilà, drop date will be around the corner sooner than you think 👀

2 years since the diagnosis & 4th round of MS treatment later, I still can’t believe this is my life now….

nor can I believe that I was actually looking forward and happy to get it this time…

yet, my veins weren’t at all 🤣! It took 3 very good nurses and 4 needles to find one up for the mission!

but now, I feel brand new & fresh 😎
