I am excited to announce that I have joined a German crypto startup that plans to bring affiliate marketing onchain (via @base.base.eth).

I just read the post from @ace and wanted to expand on it with my experience and thoughts about Farcaster.
While it's obvious that the activity ever since $degen season 3 (I think), dropped a lot, it's awesome to see a lot of similar people still being active. And while $degen is still being tipped, it's more of a gesture, rather than trying to make a living off posting (how it felt during the peak).
Regarding onboarding new user. It's still pretty "difficult" for regular users to join Farcaster and the planned changes to the storage won't make it easier.
If we want to reach a higher adoption we need the power user to be a) rewarded and b) pay for the average, inactive lurker. I know it's no easy task, but I'm sure we can find a way to make it work.
Farcaster is still by far the best place if you want to build stuff on chain or just if you're an enthusiasts who wants to stay connected with the core scene and share your passion with like-minded people.

Howdy guys,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm fascinated by IT security and "hacking". I remember asking my dad (in the 1990ies) how websites get hacked, when I can't find a user/login page on a site like Altavista.
Fast forward 30 years later I learned about crypto and was surprised how much money people were able to steal, without it making big waves in traditional media.
If you rob a post-train you'll make national news, if North Korea steals 600M from Axie Infinity, nobody outside the crypto space hears about it.
That's why I started to write a weekly newsletter/post about all the things that went wrong in crypto. I named it TMZ CRYPTO after the celebrity gossip page TMZ, because I also cover "Twitter drama" related to crypto.
I got banned from Twitter earlier this year and stopped writing my episodes, but yesterday I picked it up again and wrote episode #42.
If you have a moment take a look and if you want to be a legend you can even mint it! <3
